Even though we’re in the middle of the college football season, college basketball is not far off.
CBSSports.com has released their ACC Basketball preview.
Some Highlights –
Virginia is the pre-season pick to win the ACC. The Hoos are not one-hit wonders, but now a major college basketball power capable of competing for ACC Titles and Sweet 16 or better NCAA runs every single year. Tony Bennett has Virginia will be in this position for the foreseeable future.
Florida State is at a high water mark under Leonard Hamilton where they are NCAA caliber year in and year out – this year is no different despite some key losses.
If Georgia Tech and Josh Pastner are ever going to make the NCAA tournament. This is the year. With a high quality backcourt of Jose Alvarado and Michael Devoe, Pastner must cash in. If not now then when?
