Well Notre Dame football is officially part of the ACC for at least 1 season. With that we’ll cover the Irish just as any other ACC football team, for at least this season.

We’ve already done our Top 5 ACC players at each position for the season,   but where would Notre Dame players land?

There are a few that would have made our lists.

At QB, I would have Notre Dame Ian Book at #3 in the ACC.

Ian Book may not have the physical gifts of the current list of ACC players, but his results are undeniable. Last season he threw for over 3,000 yards with 34 TDs and just 6 interceptions. He’s more mobile than you’d think with 546 yards on the ground for a nearly 5 yards per caryy average. He led the Irish to the 2018 playoffs, and an 11 win 2019.

At Offensive Lineman, I would have Liam Eichenberg at #5 in the ACC

Liam Eichenberg is a potential 1st round NFL pick for 2021. The fact I’ve ranked him 5th in the ACC speaks to the fact the ACC has a number of early round NFL caliber offensive linemen this season. He’s 6-6 and 305 and moves extremely well.

At LB, I would have  Jeremiah Owusu-Kormoah at #2 in the ACC

Owusu-Koromoah is absolute stud at LB for the Irish. He comes into 2020, on a number of pre-season All-American teams and is considered a possible first round NFL pick. Last season he had 80 tackles and 13.5 TFL. North Carolina’s Chazz Surratt will have to hold of Owusu-Kormoah as the ACC’s top LB.
