Cam Erving was also on the OL list for Durham, and Lamarcus Joyner was the other CB for Packer. You don’t quite see them on the list.
Omoregie Uzzi made the list at OL for Durham. If you were going to pick a Georgia Tech offensive lineman, I would have went with Shaq Mason instead. Mason not on either list is a miss to me, as I think he was best offensive lineman that ever played for Paul Johnson, and was part of the Jackets 11 win 2014 Orange Bowl team.
The three linebackers BC’s Luke Kuechly, Clemson’s Isaiah Simmons, Virginia’s Micah Kiser were the only matching positions by both Durham and Packer. All I can say, is you can’t argue with those three choices.
You had to win a national title to keep Louisville’s Lamar Jackson off the list, and likely 1st round pick with his own national title Clemson’s Trevor Lawrence probably wasn’t even that close to making the list.
Is there anything else you see that is noteworthy from their lists?
