An Offseason #ACC Football Charity Bet With @ER of @RedWhitePodcast

Good afternoon, Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) sports fans.

Just a very quick post here, eh?

Our friend, Evan Roberts (@ER) of @RedWhitePodcast recently joined @TalkinACCSports and I on the @AllSportsDACC podcast.   You can listen to that episode here.

Evan and I (@HokieSmash_ASD) agreed to a charity bet on that episode of the podcast (more on that below).  We are no strangers to sports charity bets here at @AllSportsDACC.  For example, please see our bet with @SouthEndHero here – and our bet with @CFBMemes_ here.  I’m 1-1 in my charity bets.

On the @AllSportsDACC podcast, Evan agreed and I agreed on a unique 2020 ACC football bet (if the 2020 football season goes forward).  We through out an over/under -2.5 in terms of the number of football teams – which side of the conference (Atlantic or Coastal) would have more nine win or more teams (Evan agreed to a small handicap in that a bowl win would count in the nine win total).  I mentioned that the Coastal side of the ACC would have more 9 win+ teams so I took the over on -2.5 (so if the Coastal side has 3 nine-win teams or more – which also includes the bowl win, then I win the bet).  Evan took the under  – so if the Coastal has two or less teams with 9 wins (inclusive of the bowl win), then Evan wins the charity bet.

If I wins this charity bet, Evan will donate $25 to the @HokieClub.   If Evan wins this bet, I will donate $25 to the NC State Wolfpack Club.

Let the games begin – I can’t wait for college football!!
