@MattThompson87 has been tweeting the last 10 days on ACC Divisional records, scheduling scenarios and more.
You need to really check him out. Below is a tweet thread on 15 years of intra-Atlantic Division games.
Check out his Coastal Division results.
What can we take away from his analysis, in addition to the notes he’s made?
I’m back today with 15 years of the ACC Atlantic @ACCFootball (Coastal division thread attached in case you missed it Monday).

Wow the Clemson current winning streaks is astonishing against the Atlantic division outside of Syracuse. This is 1990s Florida State type stuff.

NCST 2-5
FSU 1-6
Clem 1-6Notables:
– Handed Clemson its only road loss within the division over the last 5 seasons

I didn’t realize NC State has the same record against Clemson as Virginia does against Virginia Tech (1-14). The Wolfpack shouldn’t have a losing record against every divisional opponent except Syracuse. That’s one ugly mark.
ACC Title Game trips (ACC Titles)
Clemson 7 (6; 2011, 2015-2019)
FSU 5 (4; 2005, 2012-2014)
BC 2
Wake 1 (1; 2006)— MattT (@MattThompson87) April 29, 2020
The last time the Atlantic was represented by someone other Clemson or FSU was 2008 without a loss since 2010. That’s no surprise since Clemson and Florida State also have 3 of the last 7 national titles with 6 straight playoff appearances between the two.
