No March Madness, No NBA, No Spring Baseball, No Spring Practices… In a matter of 48 hours, it all ended due to the Coronavirus.
While the matter is greater than sports, and there is no question the cancellations were the right thing to do, the NCAA can look into granting an extra year of scholarships to athletes whose season was cut short.
Geno Auriemma is in support of offering the seniors of spring sports an extra year of eligibility.

Don’t count the scholarship against next year’s numbers. If a school has 5 seniors or 20 provide the athletes the option to continue their athletics without holding it against scholarship limits.
What is happening is unprecedented, so there should be an unprecedented decision by the NCAA.
