Final ACC Football Recruiting Rankings (February 2020 Edition)

The late Signing Day was February 5. That marked the end of college football recruiting for 2020. Where did the ACC Teams finish nationally?

Rivals ACC Recruiting Rankings

We recapped the ACC recruiting winners and losers back in December when the majority of the classes were signed.

The biggest winners from the late signing period were Miami, Georgia Tech, and Florida State

Miami landed the #2 ranked Safety in the nation in Avantae Williams. Many recruiting analysts had Williams as a Florida Gator lean, and that was a big win by the Hurricane staff. The Miami class was a top 15 class by both recruiting services.

Georgia Tech managed to hold on to their highest ranked recruit in over 10 years in RB Jahmyr Gibbs. Gibbs was a consensus national top 10 RB. Gibbs committed to Georgia Tech back in May 2019, but the Yellow Jackets had plenty of work to do to hold off the likes of Ohio State, Florida, and LSU for Gibbs.

Florida State had to wait to finish off their class with several verbal commits waiting until February. Mike Norvell and the Noles managed to hold on to every commit except WR Malachi Wideman who flipped to Tennessee. How Norvell recruits in the future is still in the open, but managing to keep FSU’s class together and finish in the top 25 is an encouraging start.

Here their composite rankings from both sites.

1. Clemson – 2.5

2. Miami – 12.5

3. UNC – 17.5

4. Florida State – 21.5

5. Georgia Tech – 25

6. Louisville – 41

7. NC State – 41.5

8. Pittsburgh – 44

9. Virginia – 53

10. Syracuse – 56

11. Duke – 60.5

12. Wake Forest – 61

13. Boston College – 62.5

14. Virginia Tech – 76
