Part of Dabo Swinney’s coaching repertoire is his ability to motivate. He’ll use any perceived slight to his Clemson program as a motivational tool. Clemson fans will call it genius, his critics will call it overdone and annoying. Whatever it is, it works. This week Swinney gained several more motivational slights that he can use as Clemson prepares for their game with Ohio State. I have a feeling each of one these will be used by Swinney, whether it really makes sense or not.

3 playoffs QBs in New York and one of them is not Trevor Lawrence.
You see Trevor Lawrence or Travis Etienne win any of these awards?

Urban Meyer thinks Clemson hasn’tbeen tested this year. I guess he missed the UNC game, and I’m sure Dabo will let his team know it.
Now the All-American teams with a lack of Clemson start power.
So no Clemson WRs, Travis Etienne is a 2nd team RB and Trevor can’t even make 3rd team over Jalen Hurts?
He’s been over the top, but Dabo is 100% correct about the lack of respect for individual achievements on this Clemson team.

It’s gone beyond lack of respect into the realm of disdain. I hope the Clemson Tigers trample both opponents on the way to a dominant national championship victory. However many titles it takes to convince people that they are the real deal…
