Virginia’s game at Notre Dame was the day’s biggest game featuring an ACC team. Clemson’s near loss to UNC turned into the Saturday’s biggest story. Georgia Tech continues to be dysfunctional on offense, and Pittsburgh nearly collapsed to Delaware a week after beating UCF.
Wake Forest at Boston College seemed to fly under the radar. Wake Forest won 27-24 and moved to 5-0. I’d argue the Deacs have been the ACC’s most consistent team early in the season. They are going to be ranked in both polls Sunday and deserved some recognition. They’ve earned it.

There was a big crowd of Wake Forest fans waiting for the players to load the bus to head home. Loud, boisterous and happy.
