Best and Worst case record for Clemson football in 2019

Best / Worse Case Record for :

Louisville | Virginia | Miami | Duke | Georgia Tech | Boston College | Pittsburgh | Florida State | Virginia Tech | NC State | Syracuse | North Carolina | Wake Forest

Clemson
What more can you say about Dabo Swinney and his Clemson Tigers? After smashing what many called Nick Saban’s best Alabama team 44-16 in the national title game, Clemson has only left to play for a place in history. Can they become become one of the greatest dynasties that we’ve ever seen in College Football? Clemson not only has no peer in the ACC, they have no peers in across the country with the possible exception of Alabama. Can the Tigers win their 3rd National Title in 4 years?

Will Go 12-0 (8-0) if:
Clemson plays to their potential. Let’s face it Clemson is going to be a 3 TD favorite against nearly their entire schedule. Their offense has arguably the best QB, RB, and WR in the country. Back to back games with Texas A&M and Syracuse are probably all that stand between Clemson and an undefeated season.

The defense doesn’t need to be a top 5 unit again and likely doesn’t have to be. The offense will be frightening.

Will Go 10-2 (7-1) if:
If there are a rash of injuries or Texas A&M and Syracuse knock off Clemson in back to back weeks. Anything can happen when players get hurt, but that Texas A&M/Syracuse twofer is as difficult a pair of games as you’ll find in the country. Those teams gave Clemson their toughest games last season, and will have no fear of the Tigers.

Of course upsets are always a possibility elsewhere too. A game at NC State might be tricky, but that’s about it. Maybe the if the new defensive line can’t fill the big shoes of the departed NFL  caliber group, there might be another upset somewhere… I’m reaching here.
