Do you want to find out the health of your favorite ACC schools athletic program? When was the last time they did something nationally relevant?

This summer will list the 3 most recent nationally relevant athletic results for each ACC school. This would be one of the following.

College Football Bowl Win

Sweet 16 in Men’s or Women’s Basketball

Baseball Super Regional

National Championship in any other Sport

Most 3 Recent Nationally Relevant Results for Each School

Virginia | Florida State | Georgia Tech | UNC | Duke | Miami | Pittsburgh | Syracuse | Clemson | Virginia Tech | Wake Forest | Louisville | NC State

Boston College has had some really lean athletics years. Georgia Tech and Pittsburgh have some new company.

Boston College  36 Maryland 30  (Quick Lane Bowl) – December 26, 2016

That record setting ACC 9 bowl wins, got an assist by Boston College. The Eagles knocked off Maryland 36 – 30, as they won their final 3 games of the season. It is Steve Addazio’s only bowl win.

Baseball College Super Regional – June 12, 2016

This was a truly special moment in Boston College sports history. The Eagles hadn’t reached Super Regionals since 1967. This team came within 1 game of reaching the College World Series. They did is as 3 seed. This was Mike Gambino’s best season as BC Head Coach.

Boston College 24 Michigan State 21 (Citrus Bowl) – December 28, 2007

Oh my, we have to go back all the way to 2007 to find Boston College’s 3rd nationally relevant win. That’s just bad. At least BC made it a good one. They won the Citrus Bowl over a top 15 Michigan State team to finish off an 11-3 top 10 season. Matt Ryan was the quarterback of this team.
