Good evening, Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) sports fans.
Last night, @TechLunchPailD (Tim Thomas), the owner and operator of TechLunchPail.com, was kind enough to join us for a Virginia Tech Hokies football Twitter question and answer session. See the results below (we covered a variety of topics):
Also, add in a healthy Houshun Gaines along with the continued development of that really good DL class from a few years ago (Garbutt, Proctor at DE, DeBose as flex, Porcher at DT), and there’s potential for a big step forward

1. Bud Foster, give him a year with almost all the same players and they should be a lot better.
2. Dax and Ashby at LB will be a top 3 LB pair in the ACC, both have All-ACC talent. Same at S with Floyd & Deablo
3. So much youth that most guys returning, should improve #Hokies https://t.co/s7txW81VvE— The Tech Lunch Pail (@techlunchpaild) July 8, 2019
100% agree. Offensive line are where the least returners are and the depth is there to avoid a step back. Ryan Willis should take steps forward after a starting season under his belt. The WR/TE corps is impressive. Tavien Feaster would make it even better giving VT a premier RB https://t.co/9ULtMDM7fa

I’m still around 9-3. On paper, I see 10-2 but I can’t imagine there not being an upset somewhere. Fascinating thing about this easy schedule is that the 3, maybe 4 toughest games are all on the road (ND, UVA, Miami, maybe BC) #Hokies https://t.co/G6yVjfb53C

Unfortunately don’t have any inside answer but may be the most fascinating player going into fall camp. If he’s 100% at the level he was pre-injury, VT may have the #1 cornerback that the #Hokies need https://t.co/VNDVIyAqXC

The big concern is the average being off from past classes (lower ranking seemed likely given numbers factor). Part of it is the fact that VT has a few commits who could get a big boost with a good, healthy season after dealing with injuries last year (Hampton, Kim, Rudolph) https://t.co/qYpZ01LcJ9
