So many thoughts on Clemson’s absolute destruction of Alabama 44-16. I will be writing more tomorrow, but for tonight all I can think of is Clemson has now entered dynasty territory. They are up there with the great Miami teams of the 80s and early 90s, FSU and Nebraska in the 90s, USC in the 2000s, and Alabama in the 2010s. They are joined by the Clemson teams of the 2010s. With two national titles the last three years, and no signs of slowing down Clemson may have a few more titles to go before this run comes to an end.
Trevor Lawrence is just a freshman and is already the best quarterback in the country. That’s very scary for Clemson opponents. Dabo Swinney’s only coaching peer in college football is Nick Saban and he just gave him a beatdown for the ages.
