The AP recently released their college football All-American teams. 5 ACC players made the list. Recently some Freshman All-American teams were released too. These are your future ACC stars.
Which ACC players made the list of the 247 Freshman All-American team or the USA Today Freshman All-American team
QB –Trevor Lawrence, Clemson
WR – Justyn Ross, Clemson
OL – Christian Darrisaw, Virginia Tech
DL – Alim McNeill, NC State
DL – Xavier Thomas, Clemson
S – Andre Cisco, Syracuse
KR – Juanyeh Thomas, Georgia Tech
DL: Chris Rumph II, Duke
K: Andre Szmyt, Syracuse
A couple of things are pretty apparent here. Clemson is just reloading again – with 3 Freshman All-Americans. Trevor Lawrence is well on his way to being a superstar. Syracuse has 2 Freshman All-Americans which illustrates the talent base Dino Babers is building.
Juanyeh Thomas of Georgia Tech could be on his way to becoming one of the country’s elite kick returners. That’s a talented player for new Georgia Tech coach Geoff Collins to work with.
Virginia Tech, NC State, and Duke with players on the offensive and defensive line is where games are won in the trenches, and they have future stars there.
These are 9 ACC players to watch over the next few years.
