Several ACC coaches need strong finishes to the season, because they are headed toward the hotseat. CBSSPorts.com put out their most recent hotseat rankings and 3 ACC Coaches made the list.
They ACC coaches to make the list are UNC’s Larry Fedora, Louisville’s Bobby Petrino, and Georgia Tech’s Paul Johnson.
We’ll be following this all year long to see if any of these coaches can get off that list.
The unfortunate loser of the Louisville\Georgia Tech game this Friday is going to go even deeper on that hotseat.

Rightly so. TBH, Fedora should be on the “why is this guy still employed?” list. Petrino and Johnson are still good coaches, IMO, but they’ve both let their teams down in terms of failure to recruit and failure to keep good assistant coaches. I don’t think either of them should be fired this year – unless some opportunity to hire a much better replacement comes along (which I doubt either school could afford anyway).
