Wait, there’s a game this weekend? It’s Championship weekend though. FSU rescheduled? Oh, I wasn’t aware, I was too busy focusing on #JimboLimbo ! So, FSU’s going to win and make it to a bowl game, right? Well…
Opponent: University of Louisiana-Monroe
Record: (4-6)
Strengths: Dynamic offense
Weaknesses: Anemic defense
Opinion: Truth be told, this game has been secondary in the thoughts and minds of Florida State fans, alum, faculty, students, players, families, and about near anyone that has any ties or allegiances to Seminole Nation. I’m going to keep the breaking news to another piece that’ll release soon, but it’s important to note that the drama behind the scenes will have an impact on FSU this game.
ULM is no joke, they’ve posted big numbers on offense this season, and could give a distracted FSU squad fits. However, their defense is a shiv, losing to the likes of Idaho. While this has the odds of being a shoot-out, I have a hard time, despite everything, seeing FSU really at risk of losing this game.
Final Score: FSU ends a disappointing season on a high note, with a promising future filled with limitless opportunity. FSU 48 ULM 27
