The SEC and ACC running 1 and 2 in number of NFL draft picks is a fairly common occurrence. The Pac 12 and Big 10 also had solid drafts, but the Big 12 with 14 picks? 14? That’s not a good look for a conference that’s in general football wise has been trending downward overall for years.

Yikes that’s a a who’s who of some of the worst football programs in the country. Duke and Oregon are a bit surprising though. The Blue Devils are just a year removed from a 3 year run of averaging 9 wins a season, and Oregon played in the national title game just 3 years ago.
P5 programs without a draft pick: Syracuse, UVA, Duke, Iowa State, Kansas, Maryland, Rutgers, Oregon, Arizona, Kentucky, South Carolina.

Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State, and Washington were in the college football playoff. Michigan nearly made it. Every one of these teams won at least 8 games this past year.
