Woof.

Let’s get right to the point of this legislation (HB 728): Republican representatives Bert Jones, Chris Millis, Mark Brody and Jeff Collins have proposed House Bill 728, that says if a college conference boycotts North Carolina, then state schools that are a part of that conference would be prohibited from extending the grant of media rights. So, basically, these legislators are threatening conference membership status of North Carolina and North Carolina State (Duke and Wake Forest are private, so their membership status would not be impacted).
I would love to see the Twitter mentions of Jones, Millis, Brody, and Collins – so if any readers out there know if these folks have a Twitter account, please hit us up.
Why would North Carolina go down this path again?
