Good afternoon, Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) sports fans. Just a quick post here.. the Associated Press Top 25 poll was just released and there are six ACC teams in the top 25.
Virginia Tech game in at 25th. The Hokies are unranked in the coaches poll, but are in the category of teams that are getting votes. Hokies ended up at #32 there (7th most votes of teams not in the coaches poll).
The other ACC teams in the Associated Press Poll include #3 Clemson, #7 Louisville, #10 Miami, #17 North Carolina and #23 Florida State.

The Hokies have not been in the top 25 since 2014 – when they moved to #17 after their defeat of #1 Ohio State.
The Hokies (#25) take on North Carolina (#17) in Chapel Hill, NC on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 3:30 PM EST.
This is a major step in the rebuilding process for Virginia Tech – John Swofford has to be smiling about this matchup in Chapel Hill, NC on Saturday.
