Good evening. Hope you all are studying the brackets – March Madness is going to be really fun this year (and we think the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) teams will do well). My buddy, Jeff (@TalkinACCSports), is gonna be really busy this week – so I’m helping out with this week’s edition of Around the ACC Blogosphere. Here we go:
- Site friend, Robert Reinhard (@Robert_Reinhard), makes a strong case over at the SB Nation Wake Forest Athletic Blog, Blogger So Dear, that Devin Thomas deserved to be on the of the All-ACC men’s basketball teams. Robert is right.
- Our buddy, Ethan Moore (@_EthanMoore) from Louisville Sports Live (@LvilleSprtsLive) blogs about John Calipari’s hypocrisy on the graduate transfer rule (Yes, Ethan is correct that this is a bit – no a lot – hypocritical of Calipari).
- SB Nation Blog, Streaking the Lawn, informs us that the Virginia House of Delegates provided recognition to Malcolm Brogdon for his ACC Men’s Basketball Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year awards. That is pretty cool.
- Tech Lunch Pail tells us that Virginia Tech Hokies wide receiver, Jaylen Bradshaw, is facing a make or break spring.
- FanSided Clemson blog, Rubbing the Rock (@RubbingTheRock), informs us that the Tigers not only are recruiting talented football players, but also have competitive depth at every position. You need good players to win, that is for sure, but you also need competition to make that better.
- Finally, some news on the ACC academic side of the house – the 2016 ACC Academic Consortium Advocacy Trip concludes this Tuesday, March 15, 2016, right here in the Washington DC area where I live. So you might see some ACC students around the city that need help!
And that’s it for another week of Around the #ACC Blogosphere.
