I’ll have a lot say over the next few days about Duke’s national championship win over Wisconsin, but for now Congratulations to the Duke Blue Devils and their fans.
Mike Krzyzewski coached a masterpiece in the 2nd half. With Jahlil Okafor and Justise Winslow in foul trouble, Krzyzewski substituted brilliantly with Grayson Allen and Amile Jefferson. Allen with his scoring, and Jefferson with his solid defense got Duke back into the game. By the way Duke doesn’t win this title without the bench help during this tournament from Allen, Jefferson, and Marshall Plumlee.
Late in the game Tyus Jones with a little help from a well rested Jahlil Okafor took over, and carried Duke to the title. Enjoy this Duke fans, that’s was a well earned national title over an outstanding Wisconsin team.
Oh and let me pat myself on the back… Duke 68-63.
@zstubbs Okafor Kaminsky Winslow Dekker cancel each other out. Duke muc better in backcourt. Unless Duke has foul trouble, it’s Devils by 5.
