Articles from around the ACC Blogosphere November 17, 2014.

I know it’s still football season, but the ACC is notching major conference basketball wins left and right. Georgia Tech beat Georgia, Louisville beat Minnesota, and Miami got a win that is going to resonate all year long for them. The Hurricanes went up to top 10 Florida and knocked off the Gators. Look the SEC is an awful basketball, but Florida is an Elite 8 caliber team.

For a pre-season middle of the pack ACC team to win there? Wow ACC basketball is going to be incredible this year.

So in honor of the Miami’s great win, we are leading off Articles from the ACC Blogosphere with Miami blog StateoftheU and their instant reaction to the victory.

Georgia Tech fans are feeling mighty good right now as well. After defeating Clemson to move a surprising 9-2, Yellow Jacket blog FromtheRumbleSeat grades out the Jackets performance. It is no surprise the marks are high.

Florida State blog Tomahawknation analyzes how the Seminole Defense was able to shutdown Miami in the 2nd half of their 30-26 victory. The Noles just keep getting it done.

Who really deserves to be in the playoffs? ACCPerscription makes their case for who should there.  Here’s my favorite line from their article – “Oh, REALLY? Based on what – the patch on the shoulder?” You just have to read the rest,

BackingthePack is pretty pumped because NC State is going bowling!  After not winning a conference game last year, Wolfpack fans should be excited.

Past podcast guest @BH_Orange44 offers up a preview of the Syracuse basketball season on Orange blog Orange44. Louisville, UNC, Duke, Virginia are getting all the early season headlines, but don’t forget about Syracuse.
