Congratulations to the Virginia Cavaliers for advancing to the College World Series! You know we will be checking in on a Virginia blog or two for reaction. John Swofford appreciates Virginia and Georgia Tech beating Maryland in the last 2 weeks, saving him from some awkward moments with Maryland University. With that loss, the Maryland era in the ACC is officially over, let Louisville’s begin!

Let’s check in on a couple of Virginia blogs as they celebrate the Hoos heading to Omaha.

From University Ball it’s Omahoos part three! That would be the Hoos 3rd CWS in the last 6 years. Streaking the Lawn is also celebrating their Virginia Cavaliers. I really think if Virginia has a shot to win it all. They are the highest remaining seed, and the best pitching staff left in the tourney.

CardChronicle is looking for a CWS title for their Louisville Cardinals.  Can we just count the Cardinals in the ACC now?

Clemson blog ShakintheSouthland is not too happy with Clemson AD Dan Radakovich for retaining baseball coach Jack Leggett.  I told a couple of people that asked me, that I didn’t think Clemson would have the guts to make a change and they didn’t

TarHeelFanBlog has the Jay Bilas interview with Roy Williams regarding Rashad McCants allegations.  Ok here’s my quick thought on this… UNC had a broken system. Whether they were punished enough is debatable. I really think Rashad McCants is a bitter individual.

What are three keys to NC State football this year? Wolfpack blog Backing the Pack answers that question.
