A bunch of way too really absurdly early college basketball rankings for 2014-2015.

NCAA Championship Game: Butler v Duke

After Connecticut beat Kentucky to win the men’s basketball title on Monday night, before the evening was over there were already pre-season polls coming out for next years basketball season. Sounds kind of crazy, but still they make for interesting discussions.

From an ACC point of view, it was a bit premature to call the ACC the best basketball conference in the land before last season. They weren’t before the season started and certainly weren’t by the end of the year.

For the 2014-2015 season, though, you may be able to make the argument that the ACC will return to being the best basketball conference in the country. At least on paper, you can say that. You always have to prove it on the court, but things do seem promising. Out goes underachieving Maryland and in comes basketball power Louisville to help matters.

Here’s a list of several early season basketball polls.
