The College Basketball season started Friday. There are no moral victories but Maryland taking Kentucky down to the wire has to be encouraging to Terp fans. Not so much for Florida State who lost at home to South Alabama. Virginia without Mike Scott looks like a lower division ACC team after losing to George Mason.
UNC, Duke, NC State, and Georgia Tech cruised to wins in their openers. Miami and Wake Forest took care of business as well. CBSSportsline has the results of all the ACC teams in action Friday.
We’ll we got you up to date on the opening day of ACC action, but now how do you ready yourself for rest of the College Basketball season? You need resources – blogs and twitter accounts to follow. NBC Sports created the most comprehensive list of must follows for the College Basketball season that I’ve seen yet. Guess who made the list? Since I haven’t written much on basketball this season yet, they must have been reading the great basketball previews @HokieGuru has been putting together for the site.
