Articles from around the ACC Blogosphere October 15, 2012.

What do we have going on this week in the ACC? Let’s see what our bloggers have to say.

StateFansNation agrees with the ACC Coaches who voted the NC State Wolfpack as the ACC’s preseason favorite in basketball.  NC State is quietly turning one of the better athletic departments in the ACC. Strong basketball and baseball teams, and a pretty good football team too.

TarHeelFanBlog has put together a Good, Bad and Ugly Report for North Carolina’s win over Miami. How many teams in the ACC can list both their defense and someone from their offense in a good section?

GobblerCountry will take a Virginia Tech win over Duke even if the performance was an uneven one. A win is a win is a win.

Florida State pounded Boston College and and Tomahawknation said it’s the Seminoles first leg in their 2nd half redemption tour. This week it’s Miami and FSU. Remember when that was literally the game of the year? It’s still pretty important in this year’s ACC race, but Miami’s loss to UNC took a little luster off the game.

Are you sleeping on Maryland? This week Maryland and NC State for ACC Atlantic supremacy… Seriously. This game is actually important says Maryland blog Testudo times and it is. If Maryland wins they will be the ACC Atlantic leader, if NC State wins they will still control their destiny in the Atlantic. Keep an eye on this game…

This entry is a few days old, but worth a look. Georgia Tech fired defensive coordinator Al Groh. Out is Groh and in is Charles Kelly. FromtheRumbleSeat says it was the right move.
