I haven’t had much time to blog recently. I plan to do some this weekend, but that doesn’t mean there hasn’t been some writing going on. During the last couple of weeks, I’ve been working on some things for theACC.com which is an exciting opputrunity for me. Here are some of what I’ve been doing.
I’ve been putting together a Daily ACC Olympic Web Headlines. In addition to that, I’ve written feature pieces on a couple of ACC Olympians.
One was on former NC State swimming star and Olympic medalist Cullen Jones. The other article I wrote was about former Clemson track athlete George Kitchens Jr. I hope you’ll take a look at those.
There’s something else I may be working for theACC.com in the near future, but I’ll wait until I have all the details.

As you begin this endeavor, and congratulations to you….i see it as a reward for very good reporting and anaylysis…..
What the heck is going on with the ACC and Orange Bowl and which team/conference will be competition. Understand it may be a pool, but c’mon, a month to pull together?…or is there a whopping story behind this…is Notre Dame under consideration, both ND and ACC, for either full or partial membership and until this is finalized one way or other the Orange Bowl cannot be determined–why Notre Dame as competitor is Orange Bowl if a full or partial (6 games) against ACC conference each year?
I am looking forward to your comments.
Thank you!

Hi Steven,
I can’t quit my day, but I’m looking forward to more writing for them!
Regarding your question, I did ask one of the guys at the ACC a couple of few weeks ago what was taking so long. It was around the time of the media days for everyone, and he said not much would happen during that time. So that probably
pushed back things 2-3 weeks.
Personally I don’t see ND becoming a full member anytime soon, they just value their independence too much. The partial I think is on the table, but I don’t think it will happen soon either. The Big East is still a viable Olympic Sport, Basketball conference.
I do see more scheduling opportunities with ND though. Certainly there are conversations between the two.
