The big news for today was the release of the ACC Football Schedule for 2012. Here’s a link to the ACC Helmet Schedule. Who better to give their thoughts on the new schedule than some of our ACC Bloggers. I’ll have some thoughts on the schedule myself later in the week.
Florida State blogger TomahawkNation seems pretty pleased with the ACC as they analyze Nole’s schedule. If you are criticizing FSU for scheduling two FCS teams then you obviously haven’t been following college football the last 3 months. The Seminoles did all they could to schedule a reasonable opponent, but nothing worked out. Non-conference FSU still plays South Florida and the Florida Gators.
TheGreatBlogofVirginia is satisfied with the Cavaliers schedule. I give credit to UVA for playing Penn State and TCU. Those are two nice non-conference opponents.
ACCBlogger provides a breakdown of what they like and dislike about each ACC Team’s schedule.
SouthernPigskin has ranked the top 10 ACC Conference games of the year. Clemson and Wake is more intriguing than Florida State and Miami? I like the list, but not sure about that one.
It is still basketball season what’s going there?
KeepingItHeel wonders how good the Tar Heel’s basketball team could have been without some of the injuries.
Miami pulled off a big upset over Florida State Sunday minus starting center Reggie Johnson, and AllCanes is feeling real nice about it. Also I was glad to see Hurricane fans so into the game and so many supporting the Canes. Miami often gets ripped for lack of fan support at both football and basketball games, but you didn’t see that against the Noles.
