Articles from around the ACC Blogosphere December 20, 2011

Last week before the bowl season begins in earnest. It also won’t be long before the ACC Conference basketball games get started too. Right now UNC, Duke, Virginia and Florida State are looking like the conference’s best basketball teams. Ok ACC Bloggers what’s happening out there?

You know what school has to be feeling pretty good right now? How about the Virginia Cavaliers. The basketball team defeated Oregon by double digits  and looks like the best Cavs team in years. They also can cap a magical football season with a win over Auburn in the Chick Fil A Bowl. Some good stuff from UVA blog StreakingtheLawn.

ACCMania writes that the return of Reggie Johnson for the Miami Hurricane’s basketball team could set the Canes up for a big second half of the basketball season. I agree. Keep an eye on Miami.

Clemson blog ShakintheSouthland has their kickoff Orange Bowl article. Those guys should have a lot fun writing posts previewing Clemson’s first Orange Bowl in 30 years.

Tar Heel Fan Blog gets us up to date with the staff that new coach Larry Fedora is putting together. I like the Vic Koenning hire. Despite the NFL talent on North Carolina’s roster defensively, I felt that unit was an underachieving one this year.

Finally Boston College blogger BCInterruption  has a Christmas wishlist for the BC football program. You can’t fault Eagle fans for hoping Luke Kuechly returns…
