Some Great Clemson\Georgia Tech moments of the past.

This game is special for me and one I consider one of the South’s most underrated rivalries. Having went to both schools, I know this rivalry well. It’s a pretty friendly one, but highly competitive. Rarely has this game had so much on the line. Clemson is right in the thick of the national title race, and Georgia Tech can put itself into position to make a run at the ACC Coastal Division title. This could have been the marquee college football game of the week, but the Yellow Jackets have hit an offensive wall. QB Tevin Washington doesn’t seem to be playing with much confidence, and teams are daring him to run. Still this is a huge showcase ACC game in primetime.

This year’s Tigers have weapons all over their offense, QB Tajh Boyd, WR Sammy Watkins, TE Dwayne Allen, WR DeAndre Hopkins, RB Andre Ellington and RB Mike Bellamy. All it takes though is one positive opening scoring drive for Georgia Tech, and Washington will have his confidence going.  That will get Jacket playmakers RB Orwin Smith and WR Stephan Hill more involved in the offense than they have been in recent weeks, and an upset is possible. The Triple Option is the kind of offense that can put together 6-7 minute drives. If that happens you can keep that loaded Clemson offense off the field. I’m expecting a great game.

We’ll have to see what happens, but here are some past highlights to get you ready.
