Beating Auburn would start erasing doubts about Dabo Swinney and Clemson Football.

The Clemson Tigers have started the season 2-0, but doubts about Dabo Swinney and the direction of Clemson Football program remain. The Tigers have not played well to open the season. Clemson went to the half of games with Troy and Wofford either losing or tied. These were the type games specifically against Wofford that Clemson should …

ACC Week 2 awards. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.

Well it was mixed bag in week 2 for the ACC. Some teams look in mid-season form while some others still thought it was spring practice.  Let’s get right to the awards for Week 2. The Good Stats of the Week Virginia Tech’s offense struggled all game with a porous East Carolina defense. Good thing the …

Remembering a 9/11 hero from Boston College

We are on the eve of 10 the year anniversary of one of the most significant days in American History 9/11/01. Like most everyone I remember the day very clearly. I was at work when the first reports came in, a plane had hit the World Trade Center. It must be an accident we thought. Then …

Looking at Week 2 in the ACC.

CollegeFootball.Rivals has put together a good preview of Week 2 in the ACC. While week 3 will feature the marquee  matchups of ACC teams with Ohio State, Auburn, and Oklahoma, week 2 has what I’m terming ACC Trap Game week. You’re awesome Baylor for trying to delay Texas A&M’s move to SEC.

This conference expansion business is reaching all new levels of hilarity. Articles from around the ACC Blogosphere September 6, 2011

I’ll be honest at first I thought my goodness, those are awful, especially the helmets. I kind of liked the classic …

Don’t bother doubting Boise St. or LSU.

There seem to be two things that come up every college football season. One is that Boise St. isn’t one of the very best football teams in the country and the other is that LSU Les Miles isn’t one of the best coaches in college football. You know they are out there. The doubters even …

…and that’s why College Football is the best thing going.

We haven’t even got to the first College Football Saturday of the year, and already I don’t know how we went 200+ days without college football. First on Thursday I’m hooked on watching Wake Forest and Syracuse. I’m rooting for the Deacs. I’m an ACC fan, and I’m getting excited watching Wake Forest. The Demon …
