We are on the eve of 10 the year anniversary of one of the most significant days in American History 9/11/01. Like most everyone I remember the day very clearly. I was at work when the first reports came in, a plane had hit the World Trade Center. It must be an accident we thought. Then there was another, and another and yet another. It sad, devastating and made you angry all at once. I was glued to the news for weeks.
What I also remember are the amazing acts of heroism by so many people. Their bravery and courage saved so many people. Our American soldiers that are out there everyday putting their lives at risk. We can never do enough to honor all these great men and women. What we can do is “Never Forget”.
One such story I came across was a story about a brave man from Boston College. Hats off to Central Florida for honoring Boston College graduate Welles Crowther – a 9/11 hero this weekend.
Here is link from the Sporting News for their article “UCF-Boston College football game will honor one of 9/11’s remarkable heros.”
