Well we are back to our normal Tuesday schedule, where we take look around to see what the ACC’s bloggers are up to. First off if you are reading this blog there’s pretty good chance you are an ACC Basketball fan. Contributing writer @HokieGuru has some possible good news for you. Check out what he has to say.
Great news for us Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Men’s Basketball fans… according to the Associate Commissioner of the ACC, there will be good news on the ACC Men’s Basketball Schedule “by the end of the week.” For more information, please see the Twitter conservation below between @hokieguru and @MKellyACC. This is awesome, and boy do we need some good news for ACC Fans.
Yours truly participated in an ACC Roundtable previewing the Atlantic Division at ACCBlogger.com. Questions ranged from NC State’s Tom O’Brien handling of Russell Wilson to Maryland being picked 5th in the Division. Keep an eye out there for Roundtable on the Coastal Division and my answers there.
Did you see the Maryland Terrapins new uniforms? TestudoTimes has them. Um… Not a fan of most of them. I guess the all black is my favorite. The Oregon Ducks uniform designer seems to be making the rounds.
I’m going refrain from any more personal opinions about the ongoing Miami Investigation for the time being. Each day it just seems to get uglier for the Canes… For the latest check out blog.allcanes.com.
Who doesn’t root for former Boston College player Mark Herzlich? He came up with his first NFL interception against the Chicago Bears in the NY Giants pre-season game Monday night. BC Blog Soaring To Glory has captured all the images. Former Maryland running back Da’Rel Scott followed the interceptions with a 97 yard TD run.
They are taking baby steps at Virginia. Gradually Mike London is getting that program in order. StreakingtheLawn asks What gets UVA to a winning season?
In that same vein Mike Kline at the Duke Sports Blog is wondering what Duke must do this season to get to a bowl game. One of the points on the list “Get pressure in the opposing team’s backfield” is an absolute must. Somehow the Duke defense is going to have to find a way to slow teams down.
