UNC won their opening game in a walk-off against Virginia in a thrilling finishing. No less thrilling, but far more controversial FSU twice was within 1 strike of beating Tennessee and could not close it losing 12-11 and giving 4 runs in the bottom of the 9th.
Should the game have ended on this pitch though? That sure looks like a strike to me.

Yeah, that was a swing. The entire bat clearly cross the front portion of home plate (red line).
