ACC Power Rankings after Week 11

#StayHealthy and practice social distancing.

ACC Team of the Week : North Carolina – for their 59-53 win over Wake Forest

15. Syracuse (1-7)

Last Week : 15

Syracuse didn’t play this week so they didn’t lose. That’s progress right?

14. Florida State (2-6)

Last Week: 12

Is Florida State even trying anymore? They barely showed up in 38-22 loss to NC State that was much worse than the score indicated. I hope Clemson doesn’t break them in half.

13. Georgia Tech (2-5)

Last Week: 14

Georgia Tech will be off for three weeks, as their game with Miami was post-poned. That was probably for the best.

12. Duke (2-6)

Last week: 13

Duke WAS going to have to deal with a prolific Wake Forest offense this week, but that game was post-poned.

11. Louisville (2-6)

Last Week: 11

It’s a lost season in Louisville. Bad luck, bad coaching, and just simply bad playing have made the Cards one of the ACC’s most disappointing teams this year. Syracuse is a chance at a win this week though.

10. Pitt (4-4)

Last week: 10

The losing coach of Pitt vs Virginia Tech may want to hide from their fanbase. Those are two fanbases ready to pounce on their head coach.

9. Virginia Tech (4-4)

Last Week: 7

If there is a way to lose a game in the final minutes, Virginia Tech will find it.

8. NC State (5-3)

Last Week: 9

NC State is in position to sneak up on us, and have a very solid regular season. Beat Liberty, and the Wolfpack have a great shot at a 8-3 season with Syracuse and Georgia Tech left.

7. Virginia (3-4)

Last Week: 8

Virginia has won two games in a row, and is looking at a third win with Abilene Christian next. The Hoos are improving with each passing week.

6. Boston College (5-4)

Last Week: 6

Boston College has a couple of weeks to prepare for reeling Louisville.

5. Wake Forest (4-3)

Last Week: 4

Wake Forest had a 21 point 2nd half lead to UNC and lost. If they would have lost to Duke this week, they would have tumbled in these rankings. We’ll have to wait for that game now.

4. North Carolina (6-2)

Last Week: 5

North Carolina is simple. We love the offense, and hate the defense.

3. Miami (7-1)

Last Week: 3

D’Eriq King is willing Miami to it’s best season in years. Due to COVID though, they won’t play again this month.

2. Clemson (7-1)

Last Week: 2

Clemson used the BYE week to start getting healthy and refocus for the stretch run. Florida State is in big trouble.

1. Notre Dame (8-0)

Last Week: 1

Notre Dame has found a vertical passing game, and that makes the Irish a complete team.
