ACC Team of the Week : Wake Forest  – for their 23-16 win over Virginia Tech

15. Syracuse (1-5)

Last Week : 15

Syracuse down 17-0 didn’t fold to Clemson and actually got within a 1 score before the Tigers finished them off. Fast rising Wake Forest is next.

14. Duke (1-5)

Last week: 14

This isn’t a media poll, you don’t move up 3 spots when you don’t play.

13. Florida State (2-4)

Last Week: 13

Well Florida State, it was fun while it lasted. A 32 point loss to Louisville will do that.

12. Georgia Tech (2-4)

Last Week: 11

Georgia Tech has been outscored 121-34 in their last 2 games. Notre Dame should be fun.

11. Pitt (3-4)

Last week: 9

Pitt’s season has spiraled into a trainwreck rather quickly.

10. Virginia (1-4)

Last Week: 10

Virginia is not as bad as their record. They gave Miami everything they could handle.

9. Louisville (2-4)

Last Week: 12

Louisville starting to play like the team many of expected. Virginia Tech is a very intriguing game.

8. NC State (4-2)

Last Week: 6

NC State got hammered by UNC. They are a totally different squad without Devin Leary.

7. Virginia Tech (3-2)

Last Week: 4

Virginia Tech is just the latest team to be lulled to sleep by Wake Forest. Hendon Hooker did not play well.

6. Wake Forest (3-2)

Last Week: 8

Dave Clawson again in the running for ACC COY. He’s doing his usual fine coaching job. Deacs try to keep the momentum going against Syracuse.

5. Boston College (4-2)

Last Week: 7

Other than the game against Virginia Tech, BC has been solid all year. Clemson is a new kind of test Saturday though.

4. North Carolina (4-1)

Last Week: 5

Oh if UNC could have that game with FSU back. The Heels can’t look past Virginia.

3. Miami (4-1)

Last Week: 3

Miami just keeps beating the teams they are supposed to. That’s half the battle.

2. Notre Dame (5-0)

Last Week: 2

Notre Dame finally looked like a top 5 team destroying Pitt. Georgia Tech will be a speed bump as the Irish look to Clemson.

1. Clemson (6-0)

Last Week: 1

Clemson has BC this week, and that’s a decent test before the showdown with Notre Dame.
