ACC 2020 Football Schedule

Clemson
When you are one of the two premier programs in college football like Clemson along with Alabama life is good. Last season was another fantastic season at Clemson where they finished the season #2 after a national championship loss to LSU. This included a semi-final playoff win over a very talented Ohio State team. Clemson enter 2020 again on the short list of teams that can win the national title. Clemson hasn’t finished outside the top 4 in five years. Dabo Swinney has things absolutely rolling in TigerTown.

Will Go 11-0 (10-0) if:
Clemson can remain focused in every game. Let’s face it, if Clemson is hitting on all or even most of their cylinders they aren’t losing to anyone in the regular season. To beat Clemson will take a great performance by their opponent, plus a little luck, and Clemson being off their game. QB Trevor Lawrence and RB Travis Etienne are All-Americans. The front four on defense should be very good. Clemson doesn’t rebuild they re-load, but we know this. They can certainly run the table.

Will Go 9-2 (8-2) if:
Notre Dame can knock off Clemson. Going into a season, there hasn’t been an ACC team of Notre Dame’s caliber since the 2016 Louisville and Florida State teams. Notre Dame has enough talent and an experienced QB with Ian Book to knock of Clemson. The Clemson O-Line will largely be brand new, and if it struggles it could slow an offense without either of it’s top 2 receivers from 2019. Say Notre Dame gets Clemson, it’s not out of the question the Tigers get bit by someone else. Even during their recent run teams like Pitt and Syracuse have beat Clemson, and NC State and UNC have nearly knocked off Clemson. Miami, Pittsburgh, and at Virginia Tech could certainly fit the bill of a dangerous trap game.
