Ranking the Top 50 football players in the ACC for 2020. (31-35)

Well we are still hoping there will be a college football season. There are plenty of posts regarding the probability of that, but if there is we’re going to have top 50 ACC players ranked for the season. We’ll largely take our top 5 at each position rankings for 45 of the 50.

31) Javonte Williams, North Carolina

Javonte Williams is just anther UNC offensive skill position player on this top 50 ACC player list. He enters 2020 on the Doak Walker Award list after season where he rush for 933 yards on 166 carries. The versatile play also had nearly 200 yards receiving for 1,109 all purpose yards.

32) Jackson Carman, Clemson – #4 Offensive Lineman in the ACC

Clemson lost 4 starters of their offensive line, but return Jackson Carmen who now becomes the anchor of that line. At 6’5” and 345 lbs, Carman is a tremendous run-blocker. Mock NFL Drafts have Carman going late in the 1st round or in the 2nd round of the 2021 NFL Draft.

33) Dyami Brown, North Carolina – #5 Wide Receiver in the ACC

Dyami Brown was the other 1000 yard plus receiver at North Carolina, and he did it on just 51 receptions. That led to an ACC best 20.3 yards per reception. Brown also 12 TD catchs which tied for a UNC record.

We’ve ranked 15 of the best offensive players in the ACC, and UNC and Louisville have 7 of them.

34) Noah Gray, Duke – #2 Tight End in the ACC 

Noah Gray was the leading returning receiver at Duke with 51 catches to go along with 392 receiving yards and 3 TDs. The second All-ACC player in 2019, was also named a 2nd Walter Camp 2nd Team All-America. Gray is ranked in the top 15 of draftable TE’s for 2021 according to SI.com.

35) Hunter Long, Boston College – #3 Tight End in the ACC

It’s a good year for ACC Tight Ends. Hunter Long of BC, led the Eagles last year with 509 yards for a stellar 18.2 yards per catch. That’s a great average for a WR, and almost unheard of for a TE. Long is a NFL prospect, and is projected a 3rd or 4th round NFL pick.
