More than half of ACC is in top 35 of football recruiting.

Nearly 2 months ago, we wrote about UNC’s hot football recruiting start. Mack Brown and UNC have largely maintained their early good work by ranking 4th by 247 Sports and 7th by rivals. Clemson as usual leads the way in the ACC with a consensus top 3 class going.

What is noteworthy beyond on UNC and Clemson is that more than half of the ACC is currently ranked in the top 35, with at least 5 schools in Rivals and 6 in 247 Sports ranked in the top 25.

Think about how that would look in a football season if the ACC had 5 or 6 top 25 and 3 or 4 more in the receiving votes category.
