Louisville’s 3 Most Recent Nationally Relevant Athletic Results.

Do you want to find out the health of your favorite ACC schools athletic program? When was the last time they did something nationally relevant?

This summer will list the 3 most recent nationally relevant athletic results for each ACC school. This would be one of the following.

College Football Bowl Win

Sweet 16 in Men’s or Women’s Basketball

Baseball Super Regional

National Championship in any other Sport

Most 3 Recent Nationally Relevant Results for Each School

Virginia | Florida State | Georgia Tech | UNC | Duke | Miami | Pittsburgh | Syracuse | Clemson | Virginia Tech | Wake Forest | NC State | Boston College

Louisville may not have a ton of national titles, but this has been a strong athletic department. Cardinal Baseball and Women’s basketball are among the nation’s best. Men’s basketball is on the verge of being very good again under Chris Mack. You only had to go back a year to find Louisville’s three most recent nationally relevant results.

Baseball College World Series – June 15, 2019

Dan McDonnell has built Louisville baseball into a national power. The Cardinals have 5 College World Series appearances since 2007, and are almost automatic to make the super regionals. They’ll eventually win a national title, and will enter next season as a top 5 team.

Women’s Basketball Elite 8 –  March 31, 2019

Louisville women’s basketball is a national power too. They went 32-4 this year and won the ACC’s regular season. It’s only a matter time for Jeff Walz, like McDonnell, to win a national title. In the Elite 8 Louisville went down to UCONN 80-73.

Women’s Basketball Final 4 – March 30, 2018

In 2018 Louisville women’s basketball team reached the Final 4. They were an OT game with Mississippi State from reaching the National Title Game. Expect several more Final 4 from Walz and company in the future.
