Miami has been a little quiet on the national scene in recent years. You have to go back back 3 years to find anything Miami has done nationally. Time for Miami athletics to get to work.
Miami 31 West Virginia 14 (Russell Athletic Bowl) – December 28, 2016
Miami football used to be as big nationally as any in the country. This win in 2016 over West Virginia is the Canes only bowl win since 2006.
Baseball College World Series – June 18, 2016
Miami baseball has a rich history, and they made the College World series in 2016. They made the CWS in 2015 too.
Men’s Basketball Sweet 16– March 24, 2016
2016 actually was a really good year for Miami sports. Jim Larranaga got his Hurricanes into the Sweet 16 this year. They had a 27 win season.
