Duke’s 3 Most Recent Nationally Relevant Athletic Results.

Do you want to find out the health of your favorite ACC schools athletic program? When was the last time they did something nationally relevant?

This summer we will list the 3 most recent nationally relevant athletic results for each ACC school. This would be one of the following.

College Football Bowl Win

Sweet 16 in Men’s or Women’s Basketball 

Baseball Super Regional 

National Championship in any other Sport

Baseball College Super Regional – June 9, 2019

Duke baseball went over 50 years without making the NCAA tournament, and now has made two super regionals in a row with three total appearances in the last four years. Head coach Chris Pollard has the Duke baseball on the verge of being great.

Women’s Golf National Title – May 22, 2019

Women’s golf at Duke has a whopping seven national titles since 1999. They added another this year, and trail Arizona State by just one title for the all-time lead in national titles in women’s golf.

Men’s Basketball Elite 8  – March 31, 2019

In the last five years Duke basketball has a sweet 16, two Elite 8s, and national title. They are coached by the all-time winningest coach in collegiate basketball history Mike Krzyzewski. This year was an Elite 8 season and featured the most recognizable player in college basketball Zion Williamson.
