Florida State’s 3 Most Recent Nationally Relevant Athletic Results.

Do you want to find out the health of your favorite ACC schools athletic program? When was the last time they did something nationally relevant?

This summer we will list the 3 most recent nationally relevant athletic results for each ACC school. This would be one of the following.

College Football Bowl Win

Sweet 16 in Men’s or Women’s Basketball

Baseball Super Regional

National Championship in any other Sport

Most 3 Recent Nationally Relevant Results for Each School

Virginia | Georgia Tech | UNC | DukePittsburgh | Miami | Syracuse | Clemson | Virginia Tech | Wake Forest | Louisville | NC State | Boston College

Florida State’s football has fallen, but the Noles aren’t a one sport school. They’ve had a lot of recent success.

Baseball College World Series – June 15, 2019

This improbable story is still being written. Mike Martin in his final season has led Florida State baseball to astonishing 40 straight 40+ win seasons. FSU was one of the last 4 teams in, but could I be updating this list with a Baseball National Title in the next 2 weeks? It would be Mike Martin’s first title.

 Men’s Basketball Sweet 16 – March 28, 2019

Leonard Hamilton has quietly built Florida State into one of the 25 best basketball programs in the country. He followed up an Elite 8 in 2018 with a Sweet 16 run in 2019.

Women’s Soccer National Champion – December 2, 2018

Florida State is a national powerhouse in women’s soccer. In 2018 they won the National Championship to go along with one they won in 2014. Don’t be surprised if they add another in the next few years.
