Aaron Donald has gone from great to legendary with donation to Pitt.

Aaron Donald is an institution at Pitt, he is from Pittsburgh, he graduated from Penn Hills in Pittsburgh, he works out at Pitt in the offseason. Every time you see a spring game Aaron Donald is there. Aaron Donald is the face of Pitt football in the NFL. And this past week, he came through and donated to the football program. This is a big time get for Pitt.

Aaron Donald has become the youngest seven digit donor in Pitt history. Pitt has changed the name of the athletic complex to the Aaron Donald Football Performance Center. Aaron Donald has given an influx of cash to the Pitt program. Donald believes in what head football coach Pat Narduzzi is building there. You hear that a lot from players and fans, however, Donald has put up the cash to back up his belief in Pitt.

What this is doing is putting Pitt on the map.

Pitt has players in the NFL, not only players, they have successful players. Larry Fitzgerald, LeSean “Shady” McCoy, Dion Lewis, James Conner, and Aaron Donald are all players that are names that you would know from Pitt. That’s a list of future Hall of Famers and Super Bowl Champions. Aaron Donald is leading the way for former Pitt player giving.

When you have a player of Donald’s status that gives back to his college, he goes from a great player to a legendary figure. It may lead to having a statue outside the Pitt Stadium that the University needs to build on campus one day….
