Ranking the 5 best Offensive Linemen in the ACC for 2017.

You have to win in the trenches. Who are the ACC’s best offensive linemen?

Previous and Upcoming Rankings

Quarterbacks | Running Backs | Wide Receivers | Tight Ends | Defensive Linemen | Linebackers | Cornerbacks | Safeties | Special Teams

1) Mitch Hyatt, Clemson

Mitch Hyatt came to Clemson as a 5-Star recruit, started as a freshman in 2015 and has never looked back. He was an All-ACC player last year, and has made some pre-season All-America teams for this year.

Hyatt has a definite pro future, and is already projected as a 1st or 2nd round NFL pick.

2) Brian O’Neill, Pittsburgh

One category that Brian O’Neill of Pittsburgh will lead ACC offensive lineman this year is scoring TDs. Last year he scored 2 TDs that showed his versatility. He’s also is one of the best offensive linemen in the ACC. O’Neill was an All-ACC player in 2016, and has started 25 consecutive games.

3) Tyrone Crowder, Clemson

Clemson may have the best pair of O-Line and D-Lines in the country. You can expect multiple Clemson players on the on the top 5 ACC players on the D-Line, and with Tyrone Crowder and Mitch Hyatt, Clemson has multiple top 5 ACC players on the O-Line. Tyrone Crowder  was another All-ACC pick this past season.

I’ve seen Crowder projected going as high as the 2nd round in NFL mock drafts.

4) Tony Adams, NC State

Here’s a stat for you… Tony Adams of NC State did not give up a sack during the year of 2016. That’s pretty impressive when that includes playing teams like Florida State and Clemson. He was a 2nd team All-ACC pick last season as a junior.

A bit undersized at 6’2” for a guard, he still is projected late round NFL prospect.

5) Parker Braun, Georgia Tech

Park Braun might be end up being Georgia Tech’s best offensive lineman since All-American and current New England Patriot Shaq Mason. Braun was named to several Freshman All-America teams, and that was while not even being named a starter until early October.

He made the AP All-Bowl team, and was the first Georgia Tech player as a Freshman to be named an ACC offensive lineman of the week. Braun has a very bright future.
