As I’m a member of the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association, I received this pretty cool media alert today from the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) office. On July 1, 2013, ACC Commissioner John Swofford and representatives from the league’s institutions will be in New York City for a special event in conjunction with the conference’s growth to 15 members. Specifically, this commemorative event will be part of the NASDAQ closing bell ceremony at 1 PM EST that day.
You can tell that Swofford wants to start off the new ACC with a bang. This. Is. Awesome.
Is a NYC ACC men’s basketball tournament in the works? 😉
Kudos to the Ninja, John Swofford.
