Thanks to @HokieSmash for sending this release. While this is not an earth shattering announcement, it is somewhat significant that the ACC continues to carry live sporting events on the digital network. The Spring games are something that should get reasonable viewership especially from Wake Forest and Boston College fanbases.
GREENSBORO, NC – The ACC Digital Network, sponsored by Ruby Tuesday, will live stream a pair of ACC Spring Football Games this Saturday. The Digital Network will broadcast both the Boston College and Wake Forest Spring Football Games.
Live coverage of both games can be accessed through www.theACC.com at 1 p.m.
Coverage of Boston College’s Jay McGillis Memorial Spring Game will be anchored by Jeff Fischel of the ACC Digital Network, who will serve as game host from the ACCDN set on the sidelines. Fischel will provide a unique perspective interviewing players, coaches and alumni throughout the game. Play-by-play and game analysis will be provided by BC’s Jon Meterparel and Peter Cronan. Preceding the Spring Game, the ACCDN will also stream the Boston College Alumni Game from 11 a.m. until 12 noon.
The live broadcast of the Wake Forest game will include play-by-play from Stan Cotten, commentary by Dave Goren and action and interviews from the sidelines with former Wake Forest All-ACC wide receiver Kenny Moore. The broadcast will include interviews with former Wake Forest players who are in attendance.
ACC Spring Games on The ACC Digital Network:
Saturday, Apr. 20—Boston College, 1 p.m., ACC Digital Network
