Articles from around the ACC Blogosphere October 20, 2012.

We are going to check in our ACC bloggers a day early. @HokieGuru has a great Virginia Tech basketball preview coming up tomorrow, so be ready for that.

You know who’s feeling good right now? It’s Duke football fans after their incredible bowl clinching victory over North Carolina. DukeSportsBlog goes inside the stats in their review of the game. First bowl game in 18 years? Anything else Duke does this year is a bonus.

I felt Clemson played a rather uneven game against Virginia Tech, Ok actually the Tigers didn’t play all that well. ShakinintheSouthland agrees and says the Tigers slept walked to victory.

GobblerCountry wasn’t happy with the officiating at Clemson. In my opinion the bulk of the blame should be going the atrocious offensive play-calling by the Virginia Tech coaching staff, that routinely let Clemson start drive at mid-field. In my opinion given that the Hokies have decent talent on that the side of the ball, their play calling is the worst in the ACC.

BackingthePack was so relieved that NC State held on for victory against Maryland. Good road win the Wolfpack. They might be peaking at the right time.

Another blogger isn’t thrilled with a performance in a win. BloggerSoDear was happy with the Wake Forest 16-10 win over Virginia, but they had some problems with the way the offense played.

Boston College blog SoaringtoGlory makes the case to fire Frank Spaziani. I don’t think I have to add anything else to that.
